Oni-Chan!

A side scrolling platformer following the adventure of Akira, a newly arrived magical girl getting a hold of her powers in the face of an evil force.

Greed, Envy, Wrath.

Humanity reached and reached for its peak. But when they had reached that top, they had found it.

Hubris.

It was in this hubris that they had awakened a deep slumber.

"Oni."

A long forgotten past, one where that of magical powers ravaged the land.

Oni, a latent power that appeared in rare individuals. Once awakened, it gave birth to magical abilities, manifesting in unique ways.

These abilities were used to accomplish great feats, yet it came at a cost. Those who awakened noticed their bodies changing, horns began to form at the top of their heads. However, like a curse, they noticed certain emotions would heighten, becoming unbearable and uncontrollable.

These emotions would vary greatly between Oni.

Some would feel intense anger, destroying all in their path.

Others would fall in a deep melancholy, losing themselves within their sadness.

The world was once again thrown into ruin by powerful Oni.

In the midst of this chaos lives a seemingly ordinary high school girl, Akira, unaware of the extraordinary truth that lies within her. Her life, though simple and focused on the mundane concerns of school and friendships, is about to be irrevocably changed. One day, her school comes under attack by a Oni, an event that shatters the illusion of normalcy she has clung to. Driven by a fierce desire to protect those she loves and a growing sense of purpose, she and her best friend set out on a perilous journey to track down the attacker. What begins as a desperate attempt to survive turns into a mission of defiance.

This game has been developed in a span of a month with a team of small, hardworking devs. 

The game includes as follows:

• A new spin on the magical girl powers.
• Small Character Interaction with unique voice lines in a new world.
• 3 playable levels including a boss fight and three unique enemies.
• Original sound track and Sound SFX.
